Towards the fascinating area of the region called “The garden of the Marches” where in every season of the year the climate is pleasant and the scenery is nothing short of suggestive, we will visit an artisan pasta factory of Maccheroncini di Campofilone, an ancient recipe dating back to the year one thousand.
The company is one of the few that still produces raw materials through its own supply chain.
You will be shown the traditional processing of this particular pasta by the ancient peasant hands and the packaging of the finished product. The tour continues by visiting the village of Campofilone with a guide who will show you the Egg Pasta Museum, some Roman finds and secrets of the place.
Afterwards you will visit a cellar where an expert will explain the wine production process with advanced techniques respecting tradition with a tasting of 3 labels combined with typical local products. The tour ends in a typical restaurant with the tasting of Campofilone macaroni in two different condiments: the classic Marche ragù and oil, garlic and chilli. We return to the coast in the afternoon around 2:30 pm.
